She is power, she is class, she is style and fashion; and she is our first lady Michelle Obama.

What can I say, she is a woman who has an impeccable sense of fashion that sets the quality example for a woman with so much essence. Over the years while standing by her husbands side, her active lifestyle involving herself with many communities and prestigious gatherings, she’s always managed to uphold herself with dignity and sophistication. Whether it be for a Gala or to get her hands just a little bit dirty, she never fails to impress us.

Being the first lady is not just an accomplishment, but also a pressure cooker for continuously being under the microscope of the public eye. Every move, every cough and every sneeze she makes is being watched and judged. So it’s fair to say that at least she does it stylishly.

Granted, she isn’t the first nor will she be the last well put together woman of our country, but she is one of the most admired; and frankly, I barely even recall any other first ladies other than the lovely Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, who stepped off a private plane or white house as stunning as these two; who both have a lot in common with each other than we thought.

The apples don’t fall very far from that same tree as even her daughters, Malia and Sasha Obama, are known for carrying themselves in a suitable manner with just as much elegance and sophistication to show the product example of their parents.

Though their term is soon to end, I’m sure this will not be the last we see of her as if on a cover of a magazine. Coming from a background in Princeton and Harvard, this is only the beginning of a long beautiful run.
