Considering it’s the month of Halloween and Fashion week, here in Los Angeles, I figured why not make this ManCrushMonday a little interesting.
For this Monday, I’ve had my eyes set on this EyeCandy for quite some time now since he made his first appearance in the Lady Gaga music video Born this way. Since then, he has built his branding image of being one of the most daring and sought after models and artist in the industry.
Canadian born Rick Genest A.K.A Zombie Boy, is one of the rare breeds of accomplished individuals that has overcome many obstacles and judgment in his life since his teens. Looking at him first glance, most narrow minded and superficially challenged people would consider him scary or grotesquely disturbing, but I find him fascinating, intriguing and even sexy. The story behind his body of tattoos is more interesting than the dare devil tale of wanting to be a rebel. He has surpassed everyones backwards opinions who solely find his body art as a hindering way of him finding any type of real success in life. On the contrary Mugler, Formichetti, Dermablend, Vogue, GQ, Americas Next Top Model and even L’OrĂ©al are just a few doors that kept their doors open giving him the opportunity to make a bold statement about his appearance.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder sure we all know that saying, but it takes a gifted person to see past the ink. So yeah I guess I must me gifted. I will say this guy has women across the globe swimming in their own drool, but fellas please don’t go to your nearest tattoo parlor (It’s not that serious). After doing a Dermablend commercial to promote their make-up products for the concealer line, you’d be surprised at how incredibly handsome he is.
I’ve been around a lot of male models in my life and he surely doesn’t look like the ones I’ve dated, but that’s what I like about him. He’s different. Preferably I despise being starred at and answering to asinine questions, so I could only imagine what dating someone like himself would feel like. I’d be on pins and needles in having the urge to back hand someone on a routinely basis. I could only imagine him smoking a cigarette and in his french accent telling someone to go play in traffic. My kind of guy. Then again he seems too nice of a guy to even bother
Sure he might seem a tad bit awkward at first and a little unusual at times, but aren’t we all in some chapter of our lives?
I say it’s time to get a little weird. Rick you are by far one of my Man Crushes!
In fact just take the rest of the month!
