She’s loud, she’s Honest and she blatantly tells it like it is. Wendy Williams a tv personality that has me tuned in every morning at 11am to catch her daily “HotTopics” with all the tea and the fresh squeezed juice she dishes on your average to above average celebrity gossip.

Getting just as much heat in some of her controversial yet straight forward opinions she’s never back peddled with excuses or apologies in being who she is. Some might dislike her (she probably doesn’t like you either) but I adore her and this is why she’s in my WowWednesdays.
Starting off fresh as a young shock jokey she worked her way up the ladder to become a Television Host, Author Enterpenuer and Brand of her own. I admire her “Don’t give a bird” approach. Without filter she cuts to the chase and ask the question with her Reads being on point.
Recently she spoke on the harsh mockery she’s continously received about her more adrogenyous features and womanly build.
“People do think I was born a man, that is absolutely not true I get it. I’ve got a strong face, a strong body, I’m 5-11. I wear wigs.”
“There’s no worse way to insult a woman than by saying she looks like a man, but once a woman gets over that, there is no stronger woman.” ABC
Exactly! And just like Jay Z says, brush your shoulders off and flick off that piece of lint too.

While promoting her new Vegas gig July 11th the LipShtick she made sure to make everyone aware that she would be pinpointing on whatever topics anyone has had to say. I love that she doesn’t feel the need to appease anyone. Oh you’re famous? Well thats nice I think you’re average. (Not her words but would be mine) While most celebrities or socialites feel the need to blow smoke up each others asses, and support one another in an un-reciprocating manner she chooses to stay at home with her adoring family and let them stay on ground earth. Its bad enough that people loose their sense of credibility for the addiction of fame.
When most celebrities get flack from their fans in not taking photos, many come out as complete jerks, but she funnels it down to where you can and have to respect her set boundaries and wishes. I would want to be left alone too if I were off the clock. (No camers all kinds, No crew) There is NOTHING that comes with the territory of being a celebrity. That is just another wild idea that some teeny bopper fan thought of and everyone else baaaaa (Sheeps) right along with them. I guarantee if she continues not to take photos her fans Co-Host will continue to be right behind her. Joan Crawford would be rolling in her grave.
I dont know about some of these too many talk shows but she’s here to stay so the majority can take several seats.
So Wendy I want to most importantly say thank you for giving us strong and leader-minded women……and wo-MANs …more power and courage to stay true to who we are. I wish you the best 50th Birthday and as your co-host here in Los Angeles I want to say How you do’in!
