Tequila Tuesdays

Four Seasons Hotel

So there are many bars here in the city of Los Angeles but not all can be Up to par. Being that I’ve been quite the prude over the years with my dislike of hard alcohol (I’ll get into that at another time) I thought I’d keep it classy with my classy friends and try a few social Hotspots out.

First stop is The Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. This place was swank. Good looking people, sexy atmosphere also the perfect spot to catch a little one on one with a silver fox or tall dark and handsome. I went with my bestie to The Four Seasons where we were meeting a group of friends who fly out every so so and do it BIG! First Jess and I made our way to the bar to wait for our group as we were greeted by the front desk. I wasnt too sure if I had wanted to wait know that our friend is known for shutting places down ordering nearly everything off the menu and as many bottles of champagne and wine we could drink. (You’d think he was ordering for each person).

As we sat at the bar we looked at the cocktail menue…well I went straight towards the food. We decided why not just grab a drink up until the time they arrive.

The first thing I always consider when trying a drink is “am I able to enjoy it?” Because half the time im asking for 2% liquor and the rest of whatever else (yes they do look at me crazy and I look at them as in they need to JUST make my drink). Ok I like fruity such as mango, pineapple and blackberry.  Not a fan of the strawberry there’s alway that weird taste I get from it. Ok so liquor….I hate Vodka that crap taste like rubbing alcohol and Tequila good god! Though sometimes it works. Rum is cool and Whiskey good lord I’ve had some stories from that. Ok so what are my taste buds telling me because I clearly need a Drink list for Dummies.

Well the Calore Verde seems to be the only one I can understand yeah I’ll take that and it better be good for $14!

Shaky shaky shaky shaky shake it! We had a little rhythm going. I took a sip and wow! That was good, good looking out. So our friends arrived and we transfered the check to our VIP table. I of course tipped out our bartender because I know how it is in the industry.

My Calore Verde was practically gone by the time I got there. That sweet and sour puckered taste with a little heat from the jalapeños was perfect! Especially for a prude such as myself. So we all gave hugs sat down and exchanged conversations. Our waiter(s) gave the menus directly to our gentleman friends and ordered. First we started off with sparkling water two types of wine and champagne.  Now I can really name what I was drinking because thats all I was doing…..drinking. For some of our appetizers we had the Meatballs (drooling) octopus and potato links, sautéed spinach, oysters with sea salt and for our main course Veal, LambChops and… oh for crying out loud the food was good! So good I managed to only get one good photo

(Oysters)

in etiquette class I was always taught that its proper to always leave something on the plate well I say to that HA! I’ll leave the residue.

The best part of our meal (s) was by far the dessert. Each girl was able to choose a dessert and we shared it…well I ate most of mine because they didnt get a spoon fast enough. As I finished all three glasses of wine, sparkling and my cocktail (Where’s the ladies room?) the gentlemen paid the bill and we made our way to our table at Warwicks.
